So... I woke up Monday morning and for whatever reason I checked my iphone and saw a crypto position was up 800% which blew my mind. I had the majority of the tolen held on uniswap and a very small amount held on coinbase wallet. I was able to sell the full position on uniswap but could not do so on coinbase wallet. I attempted to send these remaining phone from coinbase to uniswap and when they never arrived I researched for a phone number for uniswap to discuss this with. I went on crunchbase.com and found what I thought to be uniswaps customer service phone number. When I got to the office yesterday morning, I called the phone # (815.375.6485) and thought I was speaking to a representative about the token that never arrived. I provided him with the transaction id along with my wallet id. He shared with me that he saw the funds in the system and asked if I could get in front of a computer. When I did so he directed me to coinserecoveryapp.io and had me click on the etherium link as that was the server I had sent the funds from. Without thinking, he asked me to input my 12 word security phrase and it wasn't too long afterwards that with my own eyes I started seeing funds leave my wallet. I asked him if he was stealing and then I hung up the phone. In a panic I was able to get about 37k away from the crook but in total he was able to complete 3 separate transactions totalling about 208k worth of funds. The case # at the 78 precinct in Brooklyn is 2024-078-003846 & their phone number is 718.636.6412.
